A model for helping refugees

Sabrina Yu, a medical student in our mentorship program, researched the Vancouver Island Counseling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees. She learned about the unique initiative of volunteer therapists and interpreters who began five years ago addressing issues of traumatized refugees.
